COLUMBIA, S.C. — The first spring under Allen's new head football coach Cedric Pearl is in the books.
The Yellow Jackets held their spring game Saturday afternoon at Westwood High School and they are looking to build on the success of last year when they won seven games, the most in a single season since 1963.
Pearl says he feels good about what has been installed in the spring and says the coaching staff has plenty of good video to go over as they continue the process of assembling the depth chart.
Allen will be opening up the Cedric Pearl era on September 7 at Clark Atlanta who is led by former Allen head coach Teddy Keaton.
