COLUMBIA, S.C. — According to multiple reports and confirmation from a USC women's basketball representative three players will be leaving the team.

Bianca Jackson, LaDazhia Williams and Kiki Herbert-Harrigan all plan to transfer.

The biggest loss of the three is Kiki. The rising senior has increased her numbers during USC's postseason runs and was going to be a key rebounder, shot blocker and scorer going into this season.

The Pembroke Pines, FL native averaged 10.4 ppg and was second in rebounding 5.1 rpg and led the Gamecocks with 71 blocks this past season. Kiki also showed the ability to shoot from outside and had a sweet spot on the baseline.

Per transfer rules Kiki will have to sit for a year once she finds a new school.

Bianca was an All-SEC Freshman team pick in her first season but it didn't translate into this year as she was only able to average 17.7 minutes per game, scoring 4 ppg, with 5 starts.

LaDazhia was top prospect coming out of high school but her career never really took off while Columbia. She was overcoming leg and hamstring issues coming out of high school and didn't contribute as much as this season appearing in 19 games.

USC head coach Dawn Staley has the top recruiting class in the country coming in this year but she'll lose some veteran players in Bianca and Kiki who would've been great to play alongside a young and talented group next season but now that is not the case.

The Gamecocks will have a strong backcourt with Junior guard Te'a Cooper will be coming back and point guard Tyasha Harris entering her senior year.

The new players coming in will have more playing time to compete for and these transfers open the door to the see the new talent contribute a lot more than expected going into the 2019-2020 season.
