COLUMBIA, S.C. — Along with being a national champion with the Canes, River Bluff's Alex Urban has been selected for the the USA Baseball 18U National Team Trials.
The Clemson commit is the only player from South Carolina to make the Trials Roster. He'll compete to the with 45 other players to make the final 20 man roster.
The Teams Trials starts August 13 in Los Angeles.
The final 20-man 18U National Team will be named on August 17 and will compete in the 2019 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-18 Baseball World Cup in Gijang City, South Korea, from August 30-September 8.
