RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — A bicyclist is dead following a Sunday morning crash in Richland County.
According to Trooper Gary Miller, the accident occurred around 10:45 a.m. on Farrow Road near Mt Pilgrim Church Road about 5 miles north of Columbia.
Miller said an Infiniti SUV was heading south on Farrow Road when it struck a bicyclist that was attempting to enter the road while traveling southeast from the nearby woods.
Miller said the driver was uninjured and there were no passengers in the vehicle.
No additional details about the crash, including the name of the victim, have been released. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
