Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police have arrested two people in connection with the killing of a Columbia woman in October.

Officers say Charlie Kennedy III and Jashawn Livington were taken into custody and are both charged with murder.

On October 8th, 32 year old Astrid Haynes and a large group of people were standing outside a home on Bratton Street when someone fired shots at them in a drive-by shooting.

Haynes was hit in the lower body, and was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Haynes' father says she had started her own business eight years ago called Bright Light Care Services, which helps the elderly and disabled. She was also taking classes at Midlands Tech and the University of South Carolina. Previous Coverage: Father Says Killing was Senseless Act
