HARDWICK, Ga. — Update: William Knight has been taken into custody in Washington County, without incident, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
"More information to come later," Sheriff Joel Cochran said in a social media post Tuesday evening.

The Georgia Department of Corrections has issued a statewide alert for an inmate who left work Monday.
Authorities are looking for Baldwin State Prison inmate William Knight, who left his work detail in Hardwick, Georgia.
He is described as 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighs 156 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair.
Authorities originally said Knight was driving a grey Toyota Corolla; however, the Georgia Department of Corrections posted Tuesday that the vehicle had been located in Washington County and that Knight was likely now on foot.
He was last seen by officers in a heavily wooded area, as shown in the picture below.
According to the Georgia Department of Corrections' website, Knight is serving time for involuntary manslaughter out of Jefferson County.
Authorities said if you see Knight, do not approach him and to call (478) 992- 5111 or 911.
