Need help with filing income taxes? Free resources are available in the Midlands

Taxes are due on Monday, April 15th, and if you need a little help, some of these resources are open late.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Taxes are due in just a few days and if you've been putting if off, we may be able to help. 

The Midlands has some free and affordable resources to help you get straight with Uncle Sam.

A low-income tax clinic at USC is taking clients and will provide legal representation for those who qualify.  You can also call them at (803) 777-8614 and leave a voicemail or complete and intake form here.

The IRS has a volunteer program that offers free help to seniors and households with incomes below $52K. Their have locations at the Columbia Place Mall and the Cooperative Ministry.  You can find a taxpayer assistance center office in your area by clicking here.
