COLUMBIA, S.C. — Richland School District Two has released a timeline of the process they'll use to select their new superintendent.
The district sent a note to parents Tuesday, a day after they announced they'd hired consulting firm McPherson and Jacobson to help in the process of looking for the new leader.
According to the timeline, the district plans to announce the new superintendent on June 27 with the person officially beginning their term on July 3. The schedule also includes several community meetings where the public can give some input.
The district has been without a superintendent since January, when former superintendent Dr. Baron Davis and the school board agreed to part ways. Nancy Gregory has been serving as the interim since then.
