Columbia, SC (WLTX) - An accident on Shop Road caused delays for Columbia drivers Wednesday morning.
Troopers say a truck hauling beer and liquor overturned on Shop Road near Interstate 77 in Columbia.
The driver was taken to a local hospital.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol hoped to have the scene clear by rush hour, but still encourage I-77 North drivers to avoid the Shop Road exit and get off at Bluff or Garners Ferry Road.
