COLUMBIA, S.C. — One man is dead and another arrested after a shooting in Columbia earlier this month.
Jujuan Jameal Council, 21, is accused of shooting 20-year-old Dominique Profit to death on the 400 block of Percival Road on May 10. Profit died from a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to the coroner's office.
Richland County deputies arrested Council early Friday morning on the 1300 block of Longcreed Drive.
He was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime and booked at the Richland County Detention Center.
