The A.C. Flora lacrosse team has been ranked at the top of the state rankings this season and senior Blake Giles has been one of the headliners for the Falcons.

Giles converted to lacrosse from baseball and he says the sport combines everything he loves to do in terms of running and throwing.

In the classroom, Giles has been buckling down in earnest since ninth grade as he began the process of trying to make his high school resume more attractive to potential colleges and universities. He hopes to hear from the U.S. Naval Academy where he would major in naval architecture. He is also looking at The Citadel where he would major in engineering.
