USC Women's Tennis Makes All-SEC History

The USC women's tennis team picked up post-season awards from the SEC.

For the first time in program history, the USC women's tennis team has multiple All-SEC First-Team selections.

No. 33 Hadley Berg and No. 60 Ingrid Gamarra Martins were named to All-SEC First Team with Mia Horvit earning second-team honors. Berg went undefeated at No. 1 singles at 4-0 and clinched two matches for team. The first-team All-SEC selection marks the first of her career. For Martins, this is her second yearly league award after she was named to the All-SEC Freshman team in 2016. It is her first selection on the All-SEC first team. Horvit was named SEC All-Freshman and Second-Team All-SEC in 2017.

USC is currently ranked 10th in the ITA poll. Earlier this year, the Gamecocks were fifth in the country, the highest ranking ever for the program.
