An early morning crash on Wednesday left one person dead and two others hurt on Farrow Road. This is what we know so far.

The crash is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Authorities say one person was killed and two others were injured in a Wednesday morning crash in Richland County.

Master Trooper William Bennett with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on May 1 on Farrow Road. Bennett said a 2007 Honda Accord was heading north on Farrow Road when it was involved in a collision with a 2014 Nissan Sentra exiting from I-77.

Bennett said the Honda and the Nissan drivers were taken to Prisma Health Richland Hospital for their injuries. The passenger of the Honda died at the scene. 

The Richland County Coroner's Office hasn't identified the deceased passenger. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
