South Carolina housing law can be tricky. Luckily, a seminar this Tuesday has you covered

The event will tackle fair housing practices, landlord and tenant law, and various other resources.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Experts on South Carolina law are hosting a free seminar to help homeowners know their rights. 

Richland County, in partnership with the South Carolina Human Affairs Commission, South Carolina Appleseed Legal Justice Center, and the City of Columbia, is hosting the event on Tuesday, April 23, at 6 p.m. at the Earlewood Community Center at 111 Recreation Drive.

The event will cover fair housing, landlord-tenant laws and available resources. Organizers will also provide light refreshments. Reasonable accommodations are available upon request by contacting the Earlewood Community Center. To sign up, visit the City of Columbia website and complete the registration form.

This is the second such event held in April. Organizers hosted a previous seminar at the Busby Street Community Center on April 10.
