LEXINGTON, S.C. — A drive-through job fair hopes to fill 50 manufacturing positions at the Michelin plant in Lexington.
HTI, a recruitment company, will be hosting the event 9 a.m. - noon Thursday, July 30, behind the Michelin Wellness Center off of Longs Pond Road, near Two Notch Road in Lexington.
The drive-thru job fair will allow people to be interviewed without leaving their cars to ensure social distancing in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak. Applicants are encouraged to bring a mask or HTI will provide one at the job fair.
HTI hopes to fill over 50 manufacturing positions -- including forklift operators and production operators -- with starting pay ranging between from $12.00 to $15.00 per hour depending on position and shift.
