Third suspect wanted in shooting at Vegas Knights club on River Drive in Columbia now in custody

Deputies say 21-year-old Khmari Livingston turned himself in on Wednesday.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — A suspect wanted in connection to a March 17 shooting at a Columbia nightclub that left a 24-year-old woman dead is now in custody, according to Richland County deputies.

Deputies say 21-year-old Khmari Livingston turned himself in on Wednesday. He was charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Livingston had been wanted in connection to a shooting at Vegas Knights nightclub in the 3700 block of River Drive last month.

Around 5:30 a.m. on March 17, deputies were called to the club after a report of a fight with a weapon occurring there. When they arrived at the scene, deputies said they learned that three people had been injured and taken to a local hospital. One of the wounded, 24-year-old Destiny Jones, died from her injuries.

RCSD has since arrested two suspects -- Marcus Marshall, 33, and Cornelius Williams, 30 -- and charged them with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
